English Conversation Group
Practice English in a friendly, informal space.
This volunteer-led English Conversation Group runs alongside the PRACE Everyday English class and provides a relaxed opportunity for people to practice speaking English in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Participants build confidence by having real conversations with friendly volunteers and other learners. The group focuses on everyday speaking — from simple introductions through to sharing stories about home countries, comparing cultures, and getting to know one another.
There is no formal teaching and no pressure — just natural conversation, encouragement, and connection. It’s a great way to improve confidence in speaking English while also building friendships within the community.
This is an informal drop-in style group and is open to anyone attending or connected to the English program.
